Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of immigration processes for employees and new hires in Spain, including visa applications, work permits, and residency permits.
• Provide expert guidance and consultation on Spanish immigration laws, regulations, and compliance requirements to employees, managers, and HR partners.
• Act as a primary liaison with external legal counsel, government agencies, and relevant authorities to facilitate timely and compliant immigration outcomes.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve immigration policies, procedures, and best practices specific to Spain.
• Maintain meticulous records, track immigration statuses, and ensure data accuracy within our systems.
• Contribute to broader global mobility initiatives and projects, supporting the company's international expansion and talent strategy.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of dedicated experience as an Immigration Specialist, with a strong focus on Spanish immigration law and procedures.
• Deep expertise in Spanish visa categories, work permits, residency requirements, and citizenship processes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of complex immigration cases independently.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly to non-experts.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Fluency in both Spanish and English is essential.

• Experience with immigration processes in other European or non-US jurisdictions.
• Previous experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth technology or global organization.
• Familiarity with HRIS platforms or global mobility management software.
