About the Role
Join our growing team as a Senior Information Security Engineer, where you will be a critical defender of our infrastructure. You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and operating the security systems that protect our company, tackling a wide range of security challenges from regulatory compliance to sophisticated threats, and making a direct impact on the trust and safety of our platform.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust security systems and infrastructure across our environment.
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents, vulnerabilities, and threats.
- Ensure continuous compliance with relevant security regulations and industry standards (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001).
- Conduct security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability management activities.
- Develop, implement, and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and infrastructure.
- Automate security tasks and processes using scripting and orchestration tools.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Information Security Engineer or in a similar senior security role.
- Deep understanding of security principles, technologies, and best practices (e.g., SIEM, EDR, IAM, network security, data loss prevention).
- Hands-on experience with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with security compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS).
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for security automation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate complex security issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively in a remote-first environment.
Nice-to-Haves
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, OSCP, CCSP).
- Experience in the FinTech industry or with fraud prevention and AML compliance technologies.
- Knowledge of behavior biometrics, machine learning, or AI in a security context.
- Experience with security architecture design and review.
