Senior Manager, Field Engineering

About the Role

Lead and grow a high-performing team of Field Engineers at Grafana Labs, driving technical wins and accelerating customer acquisition for our observability solutions across the EMEA region.

Responsibilities

• Build, mentor, and manage a team of high-performing Field Engineers.
• Collaborate with sales leadership on global Go-To-Market (GTM) execution strategies.
• Drive new customer acquisition by accelerating the technical win path.
• Develop and implement tools and processes to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ensure the Field Engineering team acts as solution Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for Grafana's product suite.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a leadership role within Field Engineering or Sales Engineering.
• Strong background in observability, monitoring, or related technical domains.
• Demonstrated ability to build, manage, and scale high-performing technical teams.
• Experience with Go-To-Market strategies and collaborating with sales organizations.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work remotely within the Netherlands, serving the EMEA region.
