Senior Manager, Product Design

About the Role

Lead the developer strategy and design systems teams, shaping Webflow’s developer products and scaling our Spring Design System. This strategic and hands-on role empowers developers and designers to create the future of the web.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor product design teams focused on developer strategy and design systems.
• Drive the design and evolution of Webflow’s developer products, including Custom Code, Webflow Cloud, and extensibility.
• Guide the growth and scalability of the Spring Design System.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and product partners to translate complex technical concepts into intuitive, powerful experiences.
• Champion a builder culture that encourages exploration, rapid validation, and clarity in problem-solving.
• Set a high bar for design craft, mentor designers, and explore how AI can transform developer workflows and design systems.
• Coach teams, scale systems, and communicate the impact of design clearly to senior leaders.

Requirements

• Proven experience in product design leadership, particularly with developer tools or platforms.
• Strong expertise in designing and scaling complex design systems.
• Ability to translate intricate technical concepts into user-friendly design solutions.
• Experience coaching and mentoring design teams to foster growth and high performance.
• Strategic thinking combined with a hands-on approach to design challenges.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

• This is a remote-first position, open to candidates in the United States, British Columbia, and Ontario, Canada.
