Senior Manager, Technical Recruiting

About the Role

Lead our technical recruiting efforts across EMEA, guiding a high-performing team to attract exceptional engineering talent and scale Affirm internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of recruiters, fostering a high-performing, inclusive culture.
• Own and execute the recruiting strategy for EMEA, aligning with business priorities and supporting international growth.
• Partner with technical and cross-functional leaders to develop scalable hiring strategies.
• Influence senior stakeholders using recruiting data, market insights, and strategic guidance.
• Utilize recruiting analytics to identify trends, improve funnel performance, and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Talent Brand, Talent Operations, and other People teams to ensure a seamless hiring experience.
• Build trusted relationships with senior leaders through transparent communication and proactive talent advice.
• Identify opportunities to simplify and automate recruiting processes for increased efficiency and scalability.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in full-cycle technical recruiting, with a proven track record of hiring engineering and technical roles at scale.
• 5+ years of experience leading and developing high-performing recruiting teams.
• Deep knowledge of the EMEA talent market, with experience hiring in the UK, Poland, and Spain preferred.
• Experience developing and executing hiring strategies in new or emerging markets.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and build trusted partnerships with senior leaders.
• Strong analytical skills, with experience using recruiting data and market insights to shape hiring strategies.
• Proven ability to lead recruiting teams through organizational growth and change while maintaining high performance.

• Experience with recruiting infrastructure and talent network development in emerging markets.
