Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end processing of Australian payroll for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure full compliance with Australian payroll legislation, including tax (PAYG), superannuation, leave entitlements, and award interpretations.
• Address and resolve payroll-related queries from clients and employees efficiently and professionally.
• Perform comprehensive payroll reconciliations and prepare detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Actively contribute to identifying and implementing improvements in payroll processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4+ years of dedicated experience in Australian payroll processing, demonstrating a deep understanding of local regulations and practices.
• Expert knowledge of Australian tax laws (PAYG), superannuation, and various leave entitlements.
• Proficiency in using payroll software and HRIS platforms; experience with global payroll systems is a plus.
• Exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and a commitment to accuracy.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex payroll concepts clearly.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
