About the Role

Join Deel as a Senior Payroll Associate specializing in Spain Payroll Management. This remote, full-time role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a leading global HR and payroll platform, ensuring seamless and compliant payroll operations for our clients in Spain.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end payroll processing for clients operating in Spain.
• Ensure strict compliance with all Spanish labor laws, tax regulations, and social security requirements.
• Reconcile payroll data, identify discrepancies, and implement timely resolutions.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams (e.g., HR, Finance) and external partners.
• Provide expert guidance and support on complex Spanish payroll matters.
• Stay continuously updated on changes in payroll legislation and best practices.

Requirements

• Proven extensive experience in payroll processing, with a strong focus on Spanish payroll.
• In-depth knowledge of Spanish labor law, tax regulations, and social security contributions.
• Proficiency with payroll software and HRIS systems.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in both Spanish and English is essential.

• Experience with global payroll platforms or within a SaaS environment.
• Relevant professional payroll certification (e.g., in Spain).
