Senior Payroll Associate, South Africa/Middle East Payroll

About the Role

Join our global operations team as a Senior Payroll Associate, specializing in South Africa and Middle East payroll. In this crucial role, you will ensure accurate and timely compensation for our diverse workforce across these regions, contributing to a seamless employee experience.

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end payroll for employees in South Africa and Middle Eastern countries, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Manage payroll inputs, including new hires, terminations, changes, bonuses, and deductions.
• Reconcile payroll data and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Act as a subject matter expert for payroll queries related to South Africa and the Middle East.
• Collaborate with HR, finance, and legal teams to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in payroll processing, with specific experience in South Africa and/or Middle East payroll.
• Strong understanding of payroll legislation, tax regulations, and statutory requirements in these regions.
• Proficiency with payroll software and HRIS systems.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with global payroll platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Deel).
• Professional certification in payroll (e.g., CPP, IPPM).
• Fluency in Arabic or other relevant regional languages.
