Senior People Communications & Engagement Strategist

About the Role

Join our People team as a Senior Communications & Engagement Strategist to shape how we connect and inspire our distributed workforce. This pivotal role drives our internal narrative, fostering a vibrant culture and ensuring every team member feels informed and valued.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive internal communication strategies that align with company goals and values.
• Manage and optimize various communication channels, including newsletters, intranet, all-hands meetings, and internal social platforms.
• Partner closely with People Operations, leadership, and other departments to craft compelling messages for key initiatives, changes, and announcements.
• Design and execute employee engagement programs and initiatives that strengthen culture, morale, and connection in a remote-first environment.
• Measure the effectiveness of communication and engagement efforts, using data to inform continuous improvement.
• Provide expert guidance and support to leaders on best practices for internal communication and employee advocacy.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive experience in internal communications, employee engagement, or a related field.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging content for diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated experience developing and executing strategic communication plans.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Experience working in a remote-first or highly distributed organization.
• A strategic mindset with the ability to translate business objectives into impactful communication and engagement initiatives.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with communication platforms and tools (e.g., Slack, Confluence, internal comms software).
• Background in change management or organizational development.
• Ability to analyze communication and engagement data to derive actionable insights.
