About the Role

Join our Canvas team as a Senior Product Manager to lead the evolution of the typing experience in Goodnotes, defining the vision and strategy for how millions interact with digital text daily. This role is critical for our future scale and growth, empowering users to explore new dimensions of productivity and creativity.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive a critical product area within the Canvas team, impacting the core Goodnotes application.
• Define and drive the product vision and strategy for the typing experience.
• Collaborate closely with design and engineering to define product requirements and roadmaps.
• Lead product discovery using user research, feedback, and market insights.
• Make data-informed product decisions based on user insights.
• Prioritize features and improvements to maximize user value.
• Oversee product delivery and execution, ensuring outcome-driven decisions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in consumer or productivity products.
• Proven experience improving or building typing, text, or input systems (e.g., rich text editors, note-taking apps, document tools).
• Ability to own complex product areas end-to-end, from discovery and strategy to delivery and iteration.
• Deep understanding of UX principles, particularly for text input, layout, and editing experiences.
• Strong customer empathy and experience interacting directly with users.
• Data-informed decision-making skills, including defining, measuring, and interpreting product success metrics.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams.
• Solid understanding of technical foundations.
