Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks and scripts for desktop applications.
• Execute comprehensive functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other QA engineers to define test strategies and ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Identify, document, and track software defects, working with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality and best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a strong focus on test automation for desktop applications.
• Proven expertise with at least one major automation framework/tool for desktop (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or similar desktop-specific tools).
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, test case design, and defect lifecycle management.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into the build process.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience in the FinTech or cryptocurrency industry.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools and techniques.
• Familiarity with cross-platform desktop development frameworks (e.g., Electron, Qt).
• Experience with security testing principles.
