Senior QA Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts and frameworks for desktop applications.
• Execute comprehensive test plans, identify defects, and track them through resolution.
• Collaborate closely with development, product, and other QA teams to integrate automation into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices in test automation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a strong focus on test automation for desktop applications.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, C#, Java) for test script development.
• Hands-on experience with desktop automation tools and frameworks (e.g., WinAppDriver, TestComplete, Ranorex, or similar).
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with performance, security, or usability testing for desktop applications.
• Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments or virtual machines.
• Knowledge of financial markets or cryptocurrency trading platforms.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.

Work Arrangement

• This is a full-time, remote position within the United States.
