Senior Rust Engineer: DeFi

About the Role

Join our team as an experienced Rust developer to support the growth of our core trading infrastructure in DeFi, contributing to an exciting and constantly evolving technology stack.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation, setup, and deployment of trading algorithms.
• Sign off on the technical approach for specific use cases.
• Assist product managers in planning technical solutions, making trade-offs and decisions aligned with the roadmap and engineering guidelines.
• Mentor other engineering team members and actively participate in code reviews.
• Review performance metrics and data analysis to identify weaknesses and optimize activities.
• Ensure processes are well documented.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of backend coding experience (e.g., C++, Rust, Go, Java).
• Experience with Rust is essential.
• Familiarity or interest in trading.
• Familiarity with financial markets and trading algorithms in orderbooks.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-Haves

• A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in DeFi, Web3, and/or a DAO.
• Familiarity with AWS.
• Experience with non-EVM chains.
