Senior Security Engineer

About the Role

Join our Detection and Response team as a Senior Security Engineer to develop and implement strategies for detecting and responding to security threats, playing a high-impact role in shaping 1Password's security posture at scale. This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies for detecting and responding to security threats.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the continuous improvement of our security posture.
• Protect company assets against emerging threats.
• Take ownership in shaping how 1Password is secured at scale.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technical engineering roles.
• 3+ years of focused experience in security, specifically across Detection Engineering, Incident Response, Digital Forensics, or Threat Intelligence.
