Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain highly available and scalable production systems.
• Implement robust monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Drive automation efforts across infrastructure provisioning, deployment pipelines, and operational tasks.
• Participate in on-call rotations, providing timely incident response and conducting thorough post-mortems.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to embed SRE principles into the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role managing large-scale, distributed systems.
• Deep expertise in cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure) and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Strong proficiency in at least one major programming or scripting language relevant to infrastructure automation (e.g., Go, Python, Ruby).
• Solid understanding of Linux operating systems, networking fundamentals, and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog) and incident management processes.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience working with high-traffic web services or search infrastructure.
• Familiarity with security best practices in cloud environments.
• Contributions to open-source SRE tooling or projects.
