Responsibilities

• Ensure the high availability, performance, and scalability of CoinGecko's cryptocurrency data platform.
• Design, implement, and maintain robust infrastructure and automation tools.
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot complex issues, and participate in on-call rotations.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to promote SRE best practices and improve system reliability.
• Optimize existing systems for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and security.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or in a similar DevOps/Infrastructure role.
• Strong understanding of SRE principles, including SLOs, error budgets, and incident management.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid scripting skills in languages like Python, Go, or Bash.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Must be based in Malaysia.
