Senior Software Engineer, Actionable Intelligence

About the Role

Join our Actionable Intelligence team to build the next generation of intelligent, customer-facing workflows that help fleet managers make faster, data-driven decisions. You will play a pivotal role in integrating AI-powered features into our platform, transforming complex data into actionable insights for thousands of organizations worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and iterate on AI-powered product experiences across our full-stack Rails and React application.
• Partner with Product, Design, and Data teams to identify customer problems where AI can meaningfully improve workflows.
• Create high-quality front-end experiences using React, TypeScript, and Tailwind, ensuring accessibility and performance.
• Prototype quickly, learn from experiments, and harden successful features into reliable, scalable product capabilities.
• Mentor other engineers on best practices for front-end development, AI integration, and pragmatic software engineering.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails.
• 5+ years of professional experience with ReactJS and TypeScript.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and building dynamic, custom-designed UI components.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and relational databases like PostgreSQL.
• Strong product instincts with a focus on delivering measurable customer outcomes.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience building AI-powered features using LLM APIs, prompt engineering, or human-in-the-loop workflows.
• Familiarity with observability tools, feature flags, A/B testing, and product experimentation.
• Project experience with TailwindCSS.
