Senior Software Engineer, AI

Role Impact

• Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to research, plan, design, and build features leveraging AI to increase user productivity.
• Automate repetitive workflows and surface proactive insights for our users.
• Develop prototypes and validate solutions through rapid experimentation and iteration.
• Partner with product and engineering stakeholders to ideate, design, and implement robust solutions.
• Analyze complex data sets to identify patterns and anomalies, informing the development of accurate AI solutions.

Core Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails, demonstrating expertise in backend architecture and design patterns.
• Proven experience building and deploying successful AI-enabled solutions.
• Proficiency in React and TypeScript, with the capability to contribute effectively to full-stack development.
• Familiarity with AI and Machine Learning frameworks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of thriving in highly asynchronous remote environments.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.

Desirable Skills (Nice-to-Haves)

• Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Computer Vision techniques.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Advanced knowledge of core machine learning algorithms (e.g., Linear Regression, Decision Trees, Bayesian methods).
• Expertise in developing and deploying production-ready AI/ML models.
• Previous experience working within a Growth engineering context.
