This Senior Software Engineer role offers the exciting opportunity to partner with Product and Accounting teams, designing robust reporting and reconciliation systems crucial for our financial integrity and precision.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver quarterly team goals, guiding engineers through complex problems and ensuring support during delivery.
• Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics throughout the product development lifecycle, contributing to ideation and technical decision-making.
• Proactively identify and lead the resolution of project, process, technology, or business issues.
• Support the operational availability of team artifacts, including creating and monitoring metrics, escalating issues, and participating in on-call rotations.
• Foster a culture of quality and ownership by setting and improving code review and design standards, and advocating for best practices.
• Contribute to talent development within the team by providing constructive feedback and mentorship.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Backend Software Engineer, with a strong track record of building scalable systems.
• Experience designing and implementing data pipelines.
• Ability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams, including Product and Accounting.
• Demonstrated leadership in owning project delivery and guiding team members through technical challenges.
• Experience with operational support, monitoring, and maintaining high-availability systems.
• Strong understanding of software design principles and a commitment to code quality.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to navigate ambiguity.
