The Comms Platform team is responsible for managing critical services vital for the organization's success, handling transactional communication send-outs to customers via email, SMS, and push notifications. These services demand attention to detail, proactive maintenance, and swift response times. The team is currently focused on re-architecture, platform modernization, high availability, and internationalization efforts to support growth and competitiveness.
Responsibilities
- Own and deliver quarterly goals for your team, guiding engineers through ambiguity to solve open-ended problems, and ensuring everyone is supported throughout delivery.
- Support peers and stakeholders in the product development lifecycle by collaborating with product management, design, and analytics.
- Participate in ideation, articulate technical constraints, and partner on decisions that properly consider risks and trade-offs.
- Proactively identify project, process, technology, or business issues, advocate for them, and lead in solving them.
- Support the operations and availability of your team’s artifacts by creating and monitoring metrics.
