As a Senior Frontend Engineer on the Growth Insights team, you will be a driving force behind our analytics tracking, attribution models, and event data governance, playing a key role in optimizing how data flows through our extensive MarTech infrastructure.

About the Team & Role Impact

The Growth Insights team builds a scalable, well-integrated, and governed analytics ecosystem to enable data-driven decisions across Growth and Platform teams. We collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Data teams to audit, enhance, and streamline event tracking, improve attribution accuracy, and optimize our MarTech stack. Your work ensures analytics tracking is transparent, maintainable, and aligned with best practices, empowering other teams to make confident, data-driven improvements to the user experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain shared libraries and best practices for event tracking across multiple codebases.
• Ensure consistency and reduce duplication in data collection across Kraken’s frontend platforms.
• Build robust validation, monitoring, and alerting systems to detect and prevent data issues proactively.
• Document and evangelize best practices for analytics implementation for engineers and analysts.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and Analytics to ensure event data aligns with the source of truth.
• Continuously optimize our MarTech stack, evaluating and integrating tools that enhance tracking and attribution.

Requirements

• Significant professional experience as a Frontend Engineer, ideally in a senior capacity.
• Strong proficiency with modern frontend technologies (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Vue, or Angular).
• Experience or strong understanding of analytics tracking, event data, and attribution models.
• Familiarity with MarTech infrastructure and data flow optimization.
• Experience with data validation, monitoring, or alerting systems.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, particularly when working with cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, Data).
• Ability to document technical concepts clearly.
