About the Role

You will be instrumental in developing premium, secure, and user-friendly consumer-facing products that accelerate the global adoption of crypto and empower users towards financial freedom and inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable frontend applications for Kraken's consumer products, such as Kraken Pro, Desktop, and Wallet.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver intuitive and high-performance user experiences.
• Ensure the security, reliability, and responsiveness of user interfaces, adhering to industry-leading security standards.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategy for frontend systems, driving innovation in the crypto space.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Frontend Engineer, ideally within a consumer-facing product environment.
• Expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular) and a strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Demonstrated ability to build and optimize complex, high-traffic web applications.
• Familiarity with the crypto industry or a strong passion for blockchain technology and its potential.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fully remote, distributed team setting across Europe.
