Senior Software Engineer (Furnishing Platform)

About the Role

Join our Furnishing Platform team to build scalable systems and data pipelines that power consumer credit reporting, helping us scale our financial products to millions of users. You will play a critical role in designing robust reporting infrastructure that ensures accuracy and reliability for our financial services.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver strategic outcomes by driving the definition and execution of long-term engineering goals.
• Shape architecture and technical strategy for backend systems, ensuring they are scalable, extensible, and aligned with engineering standards.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, analytics, and design teams to define solutions and articulate technical trade-offs.
• Champion operational excellence by establishing strong monitoring, alerting, and recovery practices to ensure high system availability.
• Mentor and grow talent through code reviews, design guidance, and technical leadership.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience designing and building large-scale distributed backend systems.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin or Python.
• Proven track record of working with AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to document technical proposals and influence stakeholders.
• Experience with on-call rotations and maintaining high-volume production services.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with data engineering tools such as Airflow and Spark.
• Background in financial services or consumer credit reporting systems.
