Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality APIs and integration services.
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to gather and understand integration requirements.
• Implement efficient data synchronization, transformation, and mapping processes.
• Ensure the reliability, performance, and security of all integration solutions.
• Proactively troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex issues related to system integrations.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and mentor junior engineers on best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on system integrations, API development, or backend services.
• Proven proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Go, Node.js).
• Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ), and data interchange formats (JSON, XML).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and related integration services.
• Solid grasp of database concepts, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong analytical skills, and clear communication.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with dedicated integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Workato).
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and microservices patterns.
• Knowledge of security best practices for integrations, such as OAuth, JWT, and API gateways.
