About the RoleJoin our core engineering team as a Senior Software Engineer, where you'll design and build critical systems that form the backbone of our platform. This fully remote role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on our product's scalability and reliability, working from the USA, Canada, or Mexico.### Responsibilities- Lead the design, development, and deployment of robust and scalable software solutions for core services.- Collaborate with product managers and other engineers to define technical requirements and deliver high-quality features.- Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and champion best practices for software development.- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the stability and performance of our systems.- Contribute to architectural discussions and strategic technical planning.### Requirements- 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on backend systems.- Expertise in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Java, Ruby, C#).- Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).- Experience with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling.- Proven ability to design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and reliable applications.- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote-first environment.### Nice-to-Haves- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform).- Prior experience in a "core" or platform engineering team.- Contributions to open-source projects or a strong technical blog/portfolio.
