Senior Software Engineer, Mobile (Repayment UX)

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver quarterly goals for the team, leading engineers through ambiguity to solve open-ended problems.
• Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics to articulate technical constraints and partner on decisions.
• Proactively identify and lead the resolution of project, process, technology, or business issues.
• Support the operations and availability of team artifacts, including monitoring metrics and participating in on-call efforts.
• Foster a culture of quality and ownership by setting and improving code review and design standards.
• Develop talent on the team by providing feedback, guidance, and leading by example.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience developing and architecting mobile applications, preferably using declarative UI frameworks like React Native.
• Proficiency in Javascript/Typescript, or a track record of working with similar languages and learning new technologies.
• Experience defining technical plans for significant feature delivery with elegant, simple, and extensible designs.
• Ability to write high-quality, easily understood code.
• Proven experience making significant changes in large codebases safely and efficiently.
• Demonstrated ownership of personal growth, proactively seeking feedback.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective global collaboration.

• Experience with full-stack development.
