About the Role

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend services using Rust.
• Collaborate with product, frontend, and other backend teams to define and implement API specifications.
• Ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of consumer-facing backend systems.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and contribute to technical decision-making.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in software development.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer, with a strong focus on backend development.
• Expert-level proficiency in Rust programming language.
• Experience designing and building scalable, distributed systems.
• Solid understanding of database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) and data modeling.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
