About the Role

Join Reddit's Ads Experimentation Platform (AEXP) team as a Senior Software Engineer to build critical tools that empower engineers and scientists to accurately test new products and efficiently verify ideas within our dynamic ads marketplace. This role is pivotal in guiding product development and strategic decisions through scientific, data-driven insights from millions of daily engagements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable experimentation platforms and tools for the ads marketplace.
• Address complex challenges related to A/B testing, such as user-split limitations, budget cannibalization, and analysis of sparse data.
• Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to ensure the accuracy and statistical significance of experimental results.
• Contribute to the development of Ads Pacing mechanisms that support dynamic marketplace needs and budget-aware experiments.
• Drive technical excellence and best practices in software development and experimentation.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer, ideally working on large-scale, data-intensive platforms.
• Strong understanding of experimentation methodologies (A/B testing) and statistical principles.
• Proficiency in designing and building distributed systems.
• Ability to tackle complex technical problems in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• This is a remote position open to candidates located in the United States.
