Senior Software Engineer

About the Role

Join our new team as a Senior Software Engineer to design and scale the internal systems and tools that power Clutch's operations, making our technology more intuitive and impactful for our Professional Services teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain internal systems and tools (CLIs, APIs, dashboards, applications) for Professional Services teams.
• Take ownership of features and internal tools from design to deployment, ensuring streamlined workflows.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and operations to identify pain points and prioritize automation.
• Contribute to and help drive the roadmap for internal tools, balancing short-term improvements with long-term scalability.
• Define and implement standards for monitoring, logging, and documentation.
• Identify and introduce new technologies or frameworks to improve developer velocity and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven experience in building internal tools, dashboards, or applications to enhance operational efficiency.
• Strong understanding of APIs, services, databases, and system integrations.
• Proficiency in at least one of Node.js, Python, or Go, with strong debugging and secure coding abilities.
• Familiarity with developer productivity tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, a strong ownership mindset, and a proactive approach to delivering solutions.
• Exceptional English communication skills, capable of effective collaboration across technical and non-technical teams.
