Senior Solutions Architect, Public Sector

As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will be instrumental in guiding government and infrastructure organizations to adopt cutting-edge security solutions, making a significant impact on national security and critical services.\n\n### Responsibilities\n- Engage directly with public sector customers to deeply understand their software supply chain security challenges and requirements.\n- Design, propose, and articulate comprehensive technical solutions leveraging Chainguard’s product portfolio, including Enforce, Images, and Professional Services.\n- Provide expert technical guidance and support throughout the pre-sales process, including product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and technical presentations.\n- Collaborate closely with sales, product, and engineering teams to ensure successful solution delivery and customer satisfaction.\n- Act as a trusted advisor, educating clients on best practices in software supply chain security and cloud-native development.\n\n### Requirements\n- Proven experience as a Solutions Architect or similar role, with a strong focus on the public sector (government, defense, critical infrastructure).\n- Deep understanding of software supply chain security, open-source security, and cloud-native development principles.\n- Familiarity with relevant public sector security standards, compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST), and procurement processes.\n- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders.\n- Ability to work independently and remotely, managing multiple client engagements effectively.\n\n### Nice-to-Haves\n- Experience with Chainguard products (Enforce, Images) or similar software supply chain security tools.\n- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSK, AWS/Azure/GCP Solutions Architect).\n- Background in software development or DevOps practices.
