Senior Solutions Engineer

About the Role

Join our high-growth Enterprise Solutions Engineering team as a key technical expert, where you will partner with customers to solve complex observability challenges and drive the adoption of our open-source platform. This role offers the unique opportunity to shape our product strategy while directly impacting the success of global organizations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Sales team to articulate the Grafana value proposition, vision, and strategy to prospective and existing customers.
• Own technical engagements, including product demonstrations, hands-on enablement, and technical evaluations to close high-velocity opportunities.
• Act as a primary feedback loop between customers and our internal Product Management and Engineering teams to influence the product roadmap.
• Create high-quality technical content, including documentation, blog posts, and enablement materials to support customer success.

Requirements

• 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience, ideally within the metrics, monitoring, or open-source software space.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical advantages to diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to thrive in a remote-first, global environment requiring strong self-motivation, judgment, and collaboration.
• A technical mindset with a passion for solving complex customer problems and a desire to continuously grow your technical expertise.

Nice-to-Haves

• Previous experience in post-sales engineering or software development roles.
• Experience contributing to or working within open-source communities.
• Familiarity with modern observability stacks and cloud-native infrastructure.
