Responsibilities

• Partner with sales teams to deeply understand customer technical requirements, challenges, and strategic goals.
• Deliver compelling technical presentations and product demonstrations tailored to prospective clients' specific needs.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle, addressing complex technical questions and overcoming objections.
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams, providing valuable customer feedback to influence the product roadmap.
• Support customers through technical evaluations, proof-of-concepts, and initial integrations of Sourcegraph products.

Requirements

• Proven experience (IC3-IC4 level) in a Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or similar pre-sales technical role.
• Strong understanding of modern software development practices, developer workflows, and large-scale codebases.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple customer engagements concurrently and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with code search, code intelligence platforms, or AI-powered developer tools is highly desirable.
• This role prefers candidates based in San Francisco, CA or Denver, CO for in-office collaboration, but is open to remote teammates located in Pacific or Mountain Time zones.
