Senior Solutions Engineer

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a technology startup in a high growth phase. As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will be a key in-house, customer-facing product expert, enabling Grafana Labs' worldwide growth by educating potential and existing customers to ensure their success. This role is available remotely in Mexico City or elsewhere in LATAM.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted technical advisor, providing expert guidance on Grafana Labs' observability solutions to prospective and existing customers.
• Conduct compelling technical presentations and product demonstrations tailored to customer needs and use cases.
• Collaborate closely with sales teams to understand customer requirements, address technical objections, and design effective solutions.
• Support the entire sales cycle, from initial discovery to proof-of-concept and post-sales technical enablement.
• Share technical and product expertise to empower customers and ensure their successful adoption of Grafana Labs' products.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a customer-facing technical role, such as Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Technical Consultant.
• Strong technical understanding of observability concepts, including metrics, logs, and traces.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
• Demonstrated ability to understand customer business challenges and translate them into technical solutions.
• Experience working with open-source technologies and a passion for community engagement.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote-first, collaborative environment.

Nice-to-Haves

• Hands-on experience with Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Tempo, Mimir, or other components of the Grafana LGTM Stack.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese, given the LATAM focus.
