Senior Solutions Engineer

About the Role

Join our Solutions Engineering team as a Senior Solutions Engineer, where you'll be the technical expert guiding customers through Grafana Labs' innovative observability solutions and contributing directly to our global expansion. You will act as the crucial bridge between our highly technical engineering teams, our sales force, and our diverse customer base.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Sales team to articulate Grafana's value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers.
• Own technical engagements with customers, helping to close complex opportunities through advanced competitive knowledge and technical credibility.
• Deliver compelling product and technical presentations to potential and existing customers.
• Effectively communicate customer feedback and competitive landscape insights to internal product and engineering teams.
• Drive product conversations based on customer needs and challenges.
• Contribute to enhancing documentation, writing blog posts, recording videos, and creating other enablement materials.

Requirements

• 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills for collaborating with remote internal teams and worldwide customers.
• Ability to skillfully articulate value propositions and technical advantages of complex products.
• A passion for solving technical challenges and delivering creative solutions to customers.
• Strong technical mindset with a desire for continuous technical growth.
• Must be located in Germany.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with Open Source technologies, particularly in the Metrics/Monitoring space.
• Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDD(P)ICC.
