Senior Solutions Engineer

About the Role

Join our high-growth Enterprise Solutions Engineering team to serve as a technical expert, helping customers solve complex observability challenges while driving the adoption of our open-source platform. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape our product strategy while working in a collaborative, remote-first environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Sales team to articulate the Grafana value proposition, vision, and strategy to prospective and existing customers.
• Lead technical engagements, including product demonstrations, hands-on enablement, and technical evaluations to close high-velocity opportunities.
• Act as a primary feedback loop between customers and our internal Product Management and Engineering teams to influence the product roadmap.
• Create high-quality technical content, including documentation, blog posts, and enablement materials to support customer success.

Requirements

• 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience, specifically within the metrics, monitoring, or observability space.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical advantages to diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to thrive in a remote-first, global organization requiring strong self-motivation and cross-functional collaboration.
• A technical mindset with a passion for solving complex customer problems and a desire to continuously grow your technical expertise.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience working with open-source technologies and contributing to community-driven projects.
• Previous experience in a post-sales or engineering role transitioning into a customer-facing capacity.
• Familiarity with modern cloud-native observability stacks and telemetry data management.
