Senior Solutions Engineer

About the Role

Join our high-growth team as a Senior Solutions Engineer to act as a primary technical expert, helping customers succeed by showcasing the power of our observability stack. You will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between customer needs and our product innovation, driving both technical adoption and business growth.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Sales team to articulate the Grafana value proposition and strategy to prospective and existing customers.
• Lead technical engagements, including product demonstrations, hands-on enablement, and technical evaluations to close high-velocity opportunities.
• Serve as a critical feedback loop between customers and our internal Product and Engineering teams to influence the product roadmap.
• Create high-quality technical content, including documentation, blog posts, and enablement materials to support customer success.

Requirements

• 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience, ideally within the metrics, monitoring, or observability space.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical advantages to diverse audiences.
• Strong collaborative mindset with experience working in remote-first, international team environments.
• Proven ability to solve complex technical challenges creatively and a desire to continuously grow your technical skillset.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience working with Open Source technologies and community-driven projects.
• Previous experience in post-sales engineering or software development roles.
• Familiarity with the Grafana LGTM stack (Loki, Grafana, Tempo, Mimir).
