Join us as a Senior Staff Product Designer playing a crucial role in shaping the future of Kraken in the payments space. You will lead the design and delivery of our new payments app from concept to launch, focusing on creating intuitive and aesthetically excellent user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of completely new product concepts for the payments space (0 to 1 initiatives).
• Set industry benchmarks with visually rich and innovative designs, enhancing Kraken's brand recognition.
• Use influence to push stakeholders to maintain the highest design standards.
• Create exceptional quality user experiences working closely with other designers, researchers, product managers, content writers, and engineers.
• Develop the visual concept for Kraken’s payments products and establish the design language.
• Balance business objectives, customer needs, insights, and technical constraints to produce data-informed outcomes.
• Own your work, take full accountability for the quality of your designs, and track outcomes and results.
• Track emerging customer trends, using insights to upgrade designs and impact overall design direction.
• Lead design reviews, seeking and giving meaningful and supportive feedback.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading 0 to 1 product design initiatives across mobile and web, with a track record of shipping high-quality, complex products, especially in the payments or crypto space.
• Expertise in solving tough UX challenges, crafting intuitive user experiences, and rapidly prototyping to test and validate ideas.
• Ability to use research-backed methods and analytics to inform design decisions.
