Senior Tax Manager

Responsibilities

• Implement tax processes worldwide, including domestic and international tax planning within Asia-Pacific.
• Manage direct and indirect tax aspects globally, covering Corporate, Federal and State tax, VAT, GST, Sales tax, Withholding tax, and other levies.
• Review tax implications for international mobile employees or contractors.
• Monitor the Group’s tax policy (Transfer pricing studies, tax structures) and handle tax audits on a worldwide basis.
• Ensure adherence to tax regulations and investigate new tax laws and developments, assessing their impact on the Company.
• Assist Finance, Legal, Sales, and Operations teams with tax matters, questions, training, and collaborate with outside advisors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Taxation from an APAC country.
• Law degree, CPA, and/or MBA are a strong plus.
• 5-6 years of related experience in a large multinational corporation (MNC) and/or a Big 4 firm.
• Solid tax knowledge and familiarity with worldwide tax regulations and standards interpretation.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively, influence, and motivate others to implement and maintain continuous improvement in cross-organization processes.
• Efficient and creative problem-solver, comfortable with ambiguity, complexity, and nuance.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools and web applications; knowledge of trading systems is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and establish positive working relationships.
• Independently driven, capable of working as part of a multinational team while maintaining a high degree of professionalism.
