Senior UX Researcher

About the Role

Join Fleetio's growing research practice as a Senior UX Researcher, where you'll lead end-to-end research initiatives to drive meaningful insights, inform product strategy, and enhance user experiences across our SaaS product.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute end-to-end studies using methods like interviews, usability testing, surveys, and ethnography to generate actionable insights that drive product decisions.
• Partner closely with Product, Design, and Engineering to inform roadmaps and ensure solutions solve the right problems.
• Develop and maintain user personas, Jobs to be Done (JTBD) frameworks, and journey maps that serve as reference points across teams.
• Refine research standards, improve tools and workflows, contribute to a shared research repository, and deepen the organization's understanding of UX research.
• Champion a user-centered mindset by communicating findings in engaging ways and advocating for users across the organization.
• Mentor and guide teammates (designers and PMs) in applying research techniques and fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Requirements

• 5+ years of UX research experience, ideally in a B2B SaaS context.
• Expertise in both generative and evaluative research methods, with a strong track record of delivering insights that shape product strategy.
• Experience working in close partnership with cross-functional product teams.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling stories, engage stakeholders, and facilitate workshops.
• Familiarity with research tools like Sprig, HeyMarvin, Lyssna (or others), and openness to exploring new methods.
• Strong prioritization and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple research projects at once.
