Site Reliability Engineer

About the Role

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure for our global platform.
• Implement and improve monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Automate operational tasks and infrastructure provisioning to enhance efficiency and consistency.
• Participate in on-call rotations and lead incident response efforts to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to embed reliability best practices and improve system performance.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or in a similar DevOps/Infrastructure role.
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, Bash) for automation.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, globally distributed team environment.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with large-scale data processing or financial systems.
• Knowledge of security best practices in a cloud-native environment.
• Familiarity with specific monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
• Experience with database administration (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
