Software Engineer

About the Role

Join Reddit's Ads Organization as a backend Software Engineer, a pivotal role fueling Reddit’s mission by building high-impact advertising products and systems. You will contribute to critical backend services, distributed systems, and data-intensive platforms that power our advertiser-facing products and ensure effective ad delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Ads products in collaboration with product managers.
• Partner with platform and data teams to build new features.
• Drive improvements in operational stability, including code quality, dashboards, and data visualizations.
• Develop extensible components aligned with product objectives.
• Manage day-to-day project tasks, including updates, timelines, and execution oversight.

Requirements

• 3+ years of software development experience in one or more general-purpose programming languages (e.g., Java, Scala, Go, C++, Python).
• Ability to take complete ownership of features or projects.
• Eagerness to learn and grow, with a deep passion for coding and excellent independent learning skills.
• Experience working as a fully functioning member of an engineering team.
