Software Engineer, Accounts

About the Role

Join us as a Software Engineer specializing in Account Lifecycle and Access Management (IAM). You will design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance systems, leveraging modern technologies to develop innovative solutions for user, group, and membership management with a focus on security and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance IAM systems.
• Develop innovative solutions for user, group, and membership management.
• Ensure the highest levels of security and reliability for account systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on large-scale projects.
• Participate in scheduled on-call rotations to ensure service reliability.
• Implement identity synchronization and lifecycle management solutions (SCIM).
• Work with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Kubernetes) for scalable applications.
• Design and implement robust access control models (OAuth, OIDC, SAML).
• Build and maintain enterprise software using TypeScript, REST APIs, and JSON.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with IAM architectures and implementing cloud computing solutions (AWS preferred).
• Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and Node.js.
• Strong knowledge of security architecture, LDAP, Active Directory, SAML, SSO, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and web protocols (XML, SOAP, JSON, REST).
• Familiarity with access control models such as RBAC, ABAC, and ReBAC.
• Enthusiasm to work with and learn more about Identity Protocols (OAuth2, OIDC, SAML).
• Experience with SQL.
• Hands-on experience implementing identity lifecycle management solutions using SCIM.
• Practical experience developing and improving applications written in Node.js.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with React.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Kubernetes).
