Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer in Ads, you will contribute to various critical areas, including:

• Designing, building, and maintaining highly reliable, scalable, and efficient machine learning serving stacks.
• Evolving long-term serving architectures and integrating closely with existing ads serving infrastructure.
• Optimizing system performance, including CPU/GPU utilization.
• Developing tools for model velocity, such as observability libraries and model quality gating.
• Creating products that enable advertisers to understand and measure campaign impact.
• Building robust attribution systems, identity solutions, and advertiser experimentation tools.
• Improving performance insights and usability of the advertising platform.
• Driving initiatives related to ads growth and platform effectiveness.

About the Teams

You will be part of a dynamic Ads organization, potentially contributing to teams such as:

• Ads ML Serving Team: Part of Reddit’s Ads ML Platform, this team focuses on building the infrastructure and tools that power machine learning across Ads. They are responsible for creating a highly reliable, scalable, and efficient ML serving stack, evolving architecture, optimizing performance, and building model velocity tools.
• Attribution & Identity Team: This team builds products that help advertisers understand and measure the impact of their campaigns. Their work includes attribution systems, identity solutions, and advertiser experimentation tools aimed at improving performance insights and usability, making Reddit’s advertising platform more effective, transparent, and data-driven.
• Ads Growth Team: This team is dedicated to driving growth within the advertising platform, focusing on strategies and implementations to expand Reddit's advertising business.
