About the Role

Join our CI/CD team as a Software Engineer to build and scale the critical infrastructure powering over a million daily builds, directly impacting how developers ship software on the web. This role offers flexibility, with options for hybrid work in London or Berlin, or fully remote within the UK or Germany.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Vercel's mission-critical build system, ensuring high reliability and performance.
• Develop scalable infrastructure capable of handling over a million daily builds.
• Continuously accelerate system performance and refine its reliability.
• Innovate and transform how customers interact with builds on the Vercel platform.
• Design and implement features that serve both internal teams and Vercel's global developer community.

Requirements

• Proven experience working with high-scale systems and distributed infrastructure.
• A strong passion for improving developer experience through robust tooling and systems.
• Ability to blend product thinking with deep technical systems work.
• Eagerness to have a direct, significant impact on how software is shipped on the web.

Work Location & Arrangements

• Hybrid Model: For candidates within a pre-determined commuting distance of our London or Berlin offices, the role includes in-office anchor days on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday.
• Fully Remote: For candidates located beyond commuting distance within the UK or Germany, this role is fully remote.
