Responsibilities

• Ensure fast and reliable launch of new AI models and features to customers.
• Design and develop robust systems, APIs, and interfaces for interacting with large language models.
• Improve and extend infrastructure for packaging, deploying, and integrating core technology within various platforms.
• Address unique challenges in maintaining AI safety on third-party platforms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure high availability and state-of-the-art performance through observability and monitoring.
• Optimize performance (latency and throughput) of large-scale distributed systems by identifying and solving complex problems.
• Act as a security advocate, promoting best practices and secure coding principles across the team.
• Design and implement secure systems, ensuring adherence to the highest security standards.
• Conduct in-depth code and architectural reviews to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities.
• Manage vulnerabilities by identifying, addressing, and mitigating risks in applications and systems.
• Provide security guidance and integrate security considerations into development processes through cross-team collaboration.
• Write secure, maintainable code, considering broader implications and risks of security decisions.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Proven experience as a Software Engineer with a focus on backend or fullstack development.
• Hands-on experience with security projects, integrating security considerations into software products, or past experience as a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE).
• Strong development skills in Python, with a track record of building and maintaining secure systems.
• Ability to review code and system architectures with a security-first mindset, identifying risks and proposing solutions.
• Autonomous and a self-starter with a proactive problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset.

Nice-to-Haves

• Familiarity with industry standards for secure software development (e.g., OWASP, ISO 27001).
• Experience with vulnerability scanning tools and secure development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
