Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer focusing on Storage, you will be instrumental in developing and enhancing our fast-growing object storage service. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Improving our analytics bucket offering and the storage of open file formats like Iceberg and Ducklake.
• Optimizing assets to accelerate delivery for websites and mobile applications.
• Building out our edge network to speed up uploads and implement features such as automatic cache invalidation.
• Enhancing the performance, observability, and reliability of our storage server.
• Collaborating with the frontend team to develop a fast and powerful storage explorer.
• Improving our APIs, client libraries, and CLI to provide an exceptional developer experience.
• Working across the entire stack, from client libraries and CLI to CDN, the storage server, and deployment infrastructure.
• Contributing to our open-source storage server and upstream dependencies like the TUS server.
• Addressing challenges such as improving upload resilience in iOS applications and optimizing the S3 protocol for efficient retries.

This is a fully remote position, open to candidates located within the APAC region.
