About the Role

As a Software Engineer at Mercor, you'll play a crucial role in refining and scaling our AI-powered hiring platform, contributing to the creation of a billion jobs. Responsibilities

• Improve the AI interview experience for our users.
• Process millions in weekly payouts efficiently and accurately.
• Build and enhance a people search engine over billions of profiles.
• Contribute to the post-training of Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Develop and maintain the world's best recruiting engine.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Fluency in at least one of the following: React, Next.js, Python, or Go.
• Experience designing schemas for both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS.
• Willingness to align evening working hours with Pacific Time (PT) timezone through at least 11 AM PT.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive eagerness to learn and adapt.
