About the Role

Join our dynamic team as a Solutions Engineer, focusing on our innovative SELECT platform to help organizations optimize their Cloud Data Platforms. This is an exciting opportunity to be a technical leader in a fast-growing, global technology company.

Responsibilities

• Understand prospect's technical environment, Cloud Data Platform cost challenges, and optimization goals.
• Own and drive technical validation and Proof of Value (POV) exercises for the SELECT platform.
• Deliver tailored demonstrations of the SELECT platform to prospects.
• Develop compelling business cases and ROI analyses for cost savings and performance improvements.
• Become the go-to expert for SELECT, ensuring optimal customer results and implementation.
• Represent DoiT and SELECT at industry events and conferences.
• Provide technical feedback to R&D teams based on customer insights.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering within a B2B SaaS company, with a focus on Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery users.
• Deep understanding of Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery and associated best practices.
• Hands-on experience with SaaS solutions for Cloud Data Platforms (observability, optimization, FinOps, data integration).
• Exceptional data analysis skills to identify trends and translate them into actionable insights.
• Proven ability to construct business cases and ROI justifications.
• Excellent communication skills, able to articulate complex concepts to technical and business audiences.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and intellectual curiosity.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience presenting to executive-level prospects and customers.
• Familiarity with cloud cost management and FinOps principles.
