About the Role

Join us as a Solutions Engineer and become a foundational part of our enterprising team, driving Paddle's ambitious growth and expanding our footprint in the UK. This role offers the exciting opportunity to empower leading software vendors with our innovative payment infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Become a product expert on Paddle's suite, including checkout, dashboard, and APIs.
• Communicate confidently with C-suite and senior developers to facilitate seamless customer experiences.
• Develop integration plans and sample code to assist sellers in implementing Paddle.
• Support Account Executives in winning new business through expert technical guidance.
• Collaborate with Customer Success Managers to ensure smooth customer onboarding and launch.
• Contribute to product development by communicating issues and feature requests to engineering teams.
• Enhance public and internal documentation.
• Mentor and serve as a role model for new and junior team members.

Requirements

• Excellent experience with web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and understanding of their interplay.
• Profound experience in using and integrating APIs.
• Strong interpersonal and customer management skills developed in a customer-facing role.
• Ability to clearly discuss complex technical concepts with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Solid understanding of online payments infrastructure.

Nice-to-Haves

• Direct experience within the SaaS or online payments industry.

About the Team

As an expert within our Sales team, you will provide technical consulting and project management support to UK and EMEA accounts. You'll work collaboratively across Sales, Success, and Product teams to enable software vendors to build exceptional customer experiences with Paddle.
