About the Role

Join Docker's strategic sales team as a Solutions Engineer, where you'll be instrumental in driving adoption and success for our key enterprise clients in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives to understand customer needs and architect innovative Docker solutions.
• Deliver compelling technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to strategic customers, guiding them through complex adoption journeys.
• Provide feedback to product and engineering teams based on customer interactions and market trends.
• Develop and maintain expertise in Docker's platform and related technologies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a pre-sales engineering, solutions architecture, or similar customer-facing technical role.
• Deep understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with enterprise software sales cycles.
• Knowledge of security best practices in containerized environments.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
